Ages: Born between Sept. 1, 2017 - June 1, 2018
Meeting Dates: Wednesdays 2:00-4:00 pm
The 1-Day Class is designed to be a gentle introduction into the co-op preschool setting while spending quality one-on-one time with your toddler. While visiting a variety of activities throughout the classroom, you can observe and interact with your child while creating, playing, exploring and discovering new things.
Ages: Born between Sept. 1, 2016 - August 31, 2017
Meetings Times: Tuesdays and Thursdays 9:00-11:30 am
The 2-Day Class is meant to be the young child’s first independent experience at nursery school. The goals are that each child learns that school is a safe, positive place and that learning is fun. We work on helping each child become independent from mom or dad, and in a way that is comfortable for both the parent and child. The philosophy is that each child will separate from the parent once he/she feels safe and has developed a connection with the teacher and/or other parents in the class. We work with each individual family to accomplish this goal.
Ages: Born between Sept. 1, 2015 - August 31, 2016
Meeting Times: Mon, Wed, Fri 9:00-11:30 am
Children learn through play, therefore the focus of the 3-Day Class is to provide the appropriate play in which children can develop their social, cognitive, and emotional selves, along with further mastering their fine and gross motor skills. Building a child’s self esteem is also central to the SJPPNS philosophy. Self esteem and the ability to learn are interdependent. The 3 Day curriculum supports that philosophy.
Ages: Born between Sept. 1, 2014 - August 31, 2015
